About Us
Two people, one workshop
This is a small joinery workshop run by two people at the edge of the harbour. We make fitted wardrobes, kitchen units, staircases and repair sash windows. The people who visit your home are the same people who build your piece, finish it, and stand behind it when it's done.
Nothing bought in
Every wardrobe, kitchen unit, staircase and window repair is made and finished here, in our own workshop. Nothing arrives from a factory or outside supplier. That's why we can guarantee the quality and fit of the work, and why we take the time to get it right.
Oak and ash: a working knowledge
Years of working with timber have taught us how oak and ash behave — how they move with the seasons, how they take a finish, how they age. We choose and prepare timber suited to each job, whether a staircase that needs to carry weight smoothly, a wardrobe that needs to sit true in a period cottage, or a sash window repair on a frame that's settled unevenly over a hundred years.

The harbour town and villages we serve
We're rooted here — the harbour is where we work from, and where many of our clients are. We take regular commissions in the docks area, and we know the villages within roughly twenty miles. This is our territory, not a wide anonymous service area. We show up, we know the area, and we understand the older properties and the spaces people live in.
